Abstract

The Database of The Governance of China is a comprehensive platform for research as well as teaching. The paper establishes an integrated model with the teaching notion of Embodiment-Cognition-Construction, which involves the application the of The Database. With the help of The Database, students can find many referential examples to help them modify their tentative translated versions of the speech delivered to freshmen by the president of GDUFS. Both the integrated model and The Database are applicable in similar discourse translation.
